My name is Eleanor Cain and I hail from St. George, Utah. The desert is my home, and you can most often find me running, playing soccer, or hiking. I’m currently training for the St. George marathon in October.
I’m a senior at Brigham Young University studying News Media and double minoring in International Development and Spanish.
I’m passionate about writing, journalism, and fighting social issues. I’ve lived in Guatemala and Spain, and so have a deep appreciation for the Spanish language as well as the people who speak it.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my faith is an important part of who I am and how I see the world.
I hope to use journalism as a means to educate and inspire change. I love telling people’s stories, and I hope you’ll enjoy as I tell a little bit of mine.
